Emco Construction built three additions to The Phantom Laboratory in Greenwich N.Y., one for new offices, one for additional laboratory space, and the third one for a gym, sauna and exercise area. Being an ecologically conscious business, the construction work was required to utilize LEED construction, special “green” materials were used throughout the entire process, including triple-pane windows that maximized natural light and passive solar heat. State-of-the art radiant heat flooring utilizing dual fuel sources was installed. Notice the silo which was installed to store the wood pellets that are used in the heating system.
